Instructions
Directions: the Farmer’s Market has a large parking lot. Look for the grassy area next to the parking lot with a picnic table. There also may be several very large white trucks parked next to the area. I will be holding a large sign with a picture of a treble clef on it.

Look for this.
We will assemble and clarify any last-minute questions. If time allows, we may hum a few verses to warm up our voices. (If possible, try singing while driving to the market!) Then, we will divide into groups of about 6-10. The first group will stay. The remaining groups will move to different locations around the outside of the building. Then, one voice (assigned a head of time) in the first group will begin singing and walking very slowly toward the market door to the building. Two, three, and then four and more voices will join in until by the end of the first verse of the first song, all the groups are singing and walking towards one-another until one very loose, open group is formed. Following the first song, we will quickly begin the second song – all together – and then – we are done!
Amenities
There are bathrooms in the building, lots of food and drink to purchase and picnic tables. If it is raining, we will gather and sing under the covered area perpendicular to the farmers’ market building.
PS – Would love to know your impressions, recommendations and whether you would like to do this again this summer at a different farmers market. Please let me know on the web or via my e-mail: organizer@flashmobsforhope.org.
